The Kid Events and Shows?
What are some of your favorite moments at the state fair? Have you gone to the dog show? Had your kid act out the rodeo or learned all things agriculture? Last year I learned that one bell pepper has just as much vitamin C as THREE oranges. CRAZY! It's is so awesome the cool things you can learn. For different shows (click here)
The Rides?
I love going to the Midway! Capturing all the rides, joy, and sometimes skill that the Midway brings out in us all. What are your favorite things to ride or games to play? Is your toddler finally tall enough for the "big kid" rides? Do you want to win an over-the-top bear for your best friend? What about finding a great way to ask your girl for her hand in marriage? To learn more about the Midway, (Click Here)
The Rodeo?
I LOVE going to the rodeo, and as a photographer, some of my favorite moments are capturing your family as you enjoy the event. You can find tickets to the rodeo by clicking on the image below!
Family Time?
All those smiles, jokes, and moments of silliness. It's this amazing time to just BE. For me to capture you and those with you just as you are. Your relationships on a deeper level then just smileing at the camrea and saying CHEESE!
But even after capturing all those moments the most important is you. Are you IN THE PHOTOS! It's great to bring your own camera and capture moments. But the BEST thing about having me join you and your family is that I capture YOU in the moments as well. So many times there is always someone missing from an image. Usually its always the same someone. You know, that one person that always has the camera. But even if you take turns the only full group photo you might get is if you ask a stranger to take it.
My parent's had me take images for a Grandparent Day in The Life session at the State Fair of Texas last year and one of the things I personally loved about their session was how much I captured my dad.
" Love this man. So glad he is in my life. My daddy is our biggest cheerleader, Axle's right-hand man and always has a helping hand to give. He is the reason that I was introduced to photography. This is my dad. Always has a camera (cause my dad is the one that is NEVER in the photos... he is always taking them). I had so much fun with their grandparent's session. I finally get pictures of my dad and my kids, along with my mom. As much as they will cherish the photographs I will cherish them more. I love seeing them with my kiddos. I don't have near enough pictures of Mr. Mark Walker. I hope to remember to take more, more often in the future."
Get your tickets for the State Fair (here) and don't worry about my ticket! It's included in the price of the session you choose.
